I teach and supervise Master’s-level courses and projects on energy systems, economics, and sustainability. Below is an overview of selected contributions.
📚 Current Teaching Activities
🧮 Nuclear Energy Economics (Since 2023 – 6h/year)
Introductory lecture on the economic modeling and policy context of nuclear energy in France and globally.
Part of the Master 2 EEDD program at Université Grenoble Alpes (GAEL).
Topics include investment costs, system integration, and low-carbon policy trade-offs.
🌍 Project Supervision (Since 2023)
Supervision of interdisciplinary Master’s projects at the
PTGreen Graduate School and Mines Paris.
Projects typically involve modeling low-carbon systems, incorporating spatial constraints, or designing optimization frameworks.
Topics include thermal storage under climate stressors, electric vehicle infrastructure, and equity in global resource allocation.
🔌 Power System Flexibility – 1-hour Lecture (2024)
Short lecture introducing the concept of power system flexibility: what it means, how to measure it, and where it comes from.
Covers variable renewables, sector coupling, storage, and demand-side participation.
Given at the École Énergie Recherche (EER), Roscoff, France.
Designed for students or professionals with basic energy or systems engineering background.
